My peugeot 308 t9 1.6 bluehdi has diesel odor and whiteish exhaust fume. After i watched your video i realized the main problem is clogged dpf. You saved my car man. Thank you a lot. Cheers!

I'm a HGV driver. In the most trucks you can scroll through the menu and see exactly the level of soot in the dpf. You can monitor it and when necessary do a manual regen. In all the diesal cars I've owned, nothing. Absolutely no way to monitor your dpf. Not even a light to inform you it's doing a regen. Designed to fail.

Simple on car with DPF change oil every 6 months or max 5000Km in harsh conditions every 3 months or max 2500Km (Toyota Japan officially recommends that)

Very easy to fix. Remove the DPF and fit a straight pipe. I did this and never another problem.

Engines are made to rev up to red line and they need to be revved up high once in a while.
That 1500 rpm, highest gear DPF and DMF destructing eco nonsense is the first thing to ignore.

I have a Viano, the particulate filter has already been changed. In third gear and when you press the accelerator to the maximum, at night I can see some smoke coming from the exhaust. Could the intake be clogged with carbon? The intake was cleaned a while ago but it did not reach the intake valves. Any other cause? I do notice less acceleration and some delay when pressing the accelerator. And I think I am starting to hear the typical turbo whistling, but I am not sure what that is exactly.

Pretty sure my turbo failed due to back pressure from blocked dpf
