Captain Klaus Muller desperately fighting to save his men against Russians encirclement on the Eastern Front. Wounded he is sent to Normandy a few days before the D-Day invasion, however here he finds his fiancée and her father serving with the Army. And must now try to save them from the local Gestapo chief, all the while trying to survive the Allies landing. Inspired by real events as they took place during the war. This is the DIRECTORS cut not the general release. See more in my notes about the movie.
Please keep in mind this is an Independent movie made for nothing by a bunch of soldiers, it is not Saving Private Ryan but I will say we have more hardware:-)

My friend, i tip my hat to this film...very clever in the presentation of a small piece of time and history where so many people from so many places had to bear the deep Waters of what war is and still cultivate the eternal principles of common and love...the scene where the doctor makes sure Muller gets the medal back after placing it apon the dead chest of the young soldier spoke through time to my memories and the life and love I've shared and lost with so many wonderful people in so many wonderful places...love is everything..thank you for your efforts and accomplishments ..I salute you brother 😎

I don’t know I’ve ever seen a war movie with more authentic equipment in it; especially the track vehicles. Great job!

My uncle made it out of Stalingrad. He was in one of the first units in the city. 16th Pzr. He was wounded and flown out in November 42. He survived the war and was captured in Linz and turned over to the Russians where he was in prison for 5 years. Thanks ike.

For an Indie without an unlimited budget this movie is nothing short of outstanding. It's an excellent example of doing more with less. Congratulations on a job well done.

Just remember this was the first movie I ever directed over 10 years ago, so certainly it has flaws, but with this edit of the movie I tried to fix some of the problems and issues that had made it into the original release, and also added before unseen footage and small scenes. What we wanted to do was to tell part of the story facing the Germans in Normandy, as it is mostly untold in movies. And of course add a little romance as we are in France right. It may be a battle heavy war film, but I do love the scene in the prison and I hope you galls do to:-) Enjoy

Great movie! War is clearly not just about us vs them as your film so heart-breakingly portrays. There are endless human dimensions to any struggle. I'm not a military man but I am keen to the history of WWII. My father watched from a mango tree as the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor and immediately after joined the Navy.... On the beach at Normandy during a vacation I walked down to the surf and decided to run from the water's edge to the cliffs. Who does that? Just to get a physical taste of that effort. Of course no one was shooting at me but it probably wouldn't have mattered. I'm convinced I wouldn't have made it. The surprise for me was at the end of the film with the memorial tribute to your dog. I had just lost my dog of 16 years and watched the entire movie thinking of her. How did you know?

Some of the combat scenes in the movie were superb. It may not be " Saving Private Ryan" (multi million dollar budget)
but for me it comes a close second! Excellent!

I watched the first few minutes and was very impressed Tino. Saving the rest for when I can give the movie my full attention.
My grandfather was in Normandy with the Canadians. He told me that the German soldiers were simply doing their duty as ordered, just like him. When you put on the uniform and swear your oath, you are bound by honour.

Really enjoyed this, well put together and really wanted the couple to find peace and escape alive and see the end of the war. Sad endings are somewhat more real to life, especially in war

Congratulations, maestro. You managed to capture the essence of war without the Hollywood fantasy. Realistic portrayal and historical interpretation of a time in history that has been so bastardised by the entertainment industry.

Well done Tino. I have come to the conclusion that anything you have anything to do with is worth watching. Gratulerer!

This movie is excellent, it’s nice to see a portrayal of both sides instead of the usual demonizing of Germans. Great work, great story and the music is incredible.
Thank you for bringing us this content.

One of my best friends Dad fought on the Eastern Front & never returned. His mother moved to Western Germany to avoid the Communist. She remarried an American Airman & moved stateside. My own Dad fought in the Pacific towards the end of the war.
