In this video, I show you how to wire a GM Hotrod. This applies to most GM applications, but specifically a 1977 Chevy Nova. This Nova was in need of some fresh wiring, due to the previous wiring being hacked up.

I completed a majority of the wiring in this video. The rest will be installed in a video coming soon, with the efi Installation.

Here are the products mentioned in this video:

21 Circuit Wiring Harness:

Install Gear Grommets:

Solder Butt Connectors:

Bro.. I couldn't have done it without you. After 2 years of trying to find someone to wire my 81 El Camino for me, I decided to do it myself. I watched hours of videos and was still confused.. until I found this one. Thanks for posting ✊🏾💯

Wow. Still impressed with the amount of work that’s needed to get her wired up even though you think it’s easy.

This video is giving me so relief! Thank you. Can I ask some questions though? I'm rewiring a 1972 Jeep CJ5 with a 304 AMC engine. I just wanted to confirm the IGN SW Start is connected to the starter.

Thank you for the great explanation! I’m planning on ordering this kit for my truck. I just had a question as far as relays, are they needed to run this kit?

I have the same harness and there are 2 wires that didn't come with any labeling they run through the same bunch it's a grey wire and a black wire. Where do you use those?
