How to quickly layer patches on the KORG KingKORG NEO

How to quickly layer patches on the NEW KORG KingKorg Neo 😎 Watch and follow along. We're using the Echo Bells & Europa Moon patches here!

👉 Start with a base patch
👉 Find another patch that works when layering with your first patch
👉 Turn on layering (Select Page, Split position, change the common voice 👉 mode to "layer")
👉 Go to misc., go page up & copy timbre
👉 Grab your patch & copy it by pressing down the encoder
👉 Copy timbre A to Timbre B and you're off and running!

Too much menu diving in my opinion. I enjoy the functionality of my Roland for its interface but do appreciate Korg for its sounds.

Same. Original KingKorg was also bad for setting up layers and splits. Seems like they kept the same incomprehensible menu logic. A real shame. So many old synths layers are a button press away. Hope that gets fixed or a shortcut created

Is there an option that doesn’t require a Ph.D in deep menu diving and tutorial exploration? I don’t even know how to look for such a thing.

Terrible. How can it be so complicated? I have the old Korg since once month ago and still haven't been able to split selected presets. I don't even know if it is possible.

Роланд гораздо проще.. Корг сильно замороченый, сюда нажать, потом туда нажать, потом выйти, потом покрутить и забыл что хотел... Потому и продал.
