Roland Juno-DS - Advanced Layers and Splits 01

In this video we wanted to demonstrate how to easily create multiple layers in splits in your performance. This is the 1st of a 2 part series that will instruct you how to accomplish this. Also you can save a specific tempo for the performance by having the Tempo lock off, then dial in the tempo that you want for the performance and save it.

I wish you could use the faders on the left to layer in real time. Seems like to much hassle using the dial knob and scrolling. 😅

The most helpful part was the one you didn't talk about at 2:04, i see you can set the zones for the parts. That can allow you to split the keyboard into 3, 4, or 16 different voices if you want using RngUp and RngLow. YOU'RE WELCOME!

What if I want to use the Roland Juno as a MIDI controller and set up a SPLIT and have keys below Middle C to be channel 1 and key above Middle C to be channel 2 - how would you do that? The sounds will be triggered externally - Not using the Juno sounds internally

Hello is it possible to assign a drum track to one of the 16 parts? Or is Rhythm Pattern available when you play a performance? I mean defining a 16 layers in a performance and then play that while having a Rhythm Pattern in background out of the Performance. I know that DUAL and SPLIT mode allow the Rhythm Pattern to play along. Don't know about Performance Mode. Thanks
