=====================================================
In this video, you'll learn about Ciscos Cloud Service Router, the CSR 1000v. It's a virtual router, which could run in the cloud (e.g. using Amazon Web Services) or on one of your local servers (e.g. running VMware ESXi). Specifically, you'll see how to download an evaluation version of Cisco's CSR 1000v, install it on an ESXi server, and construct a lab topology with three routers. You could use such a lab for your CCNA R/S (200-125), ROUTE (300-101), or TSHOOT (300-135) practice.

Great video series Kevin! I am learning along and greatly appreciate the effort and thought behind making these available to everyone. I am a fan of your training style and must say that your videos are precise, coherent and never boring. Awesome work!

Outstanding Kevin! This is the exact type of training that is needed out there!! I can't thank you enough, especially for those of us in the business who struggle as the only person who does Cisco Engineering, and are self taught on the job.

Kevin, Indeed you are amazing. This is certainly an excellent work and I like to Thank you for making this video. I passed my CCNA & CCNP Route and Switch exams by watching your training videos and reading books. I'm looking forward to the ESXi training video.
Many Thanks.

Thank you for this great training video. I am running the 6.5 version of the ESXi and it was just the opposite for me. I couldn't get the ISO to work so I used the OVA and it worked just fine.

Great video Kevin. When you're creating the virtual switches, you don't need to assign a physical adapter to them. Where you were selecting the interfaces if you look slightly to the right you'll see a grayed out X, this will allow you to remove that requirement.

Thanks Kevin! This could save me money on physical equipment and my electric bill.

Still having some teething issues with VShpere 6.7 which could be down to hardware issues, but I have three CSR100v routers all talking to each other and talking to a small physical network connected to the PC! Great!

Worked great, thanks. I can even get to all routers from my laptop via ssh (with some additional config).

Hey great video Kevin.

Please can you make a video with setup of a vCUBE for Collaboration home lab with an ITSP using SIP URI and routing numbers to CUCM or CUCME.

Thanks for the content.

Hey Kevin! Great video! Inspired by you I found out that the latest available version without service contract is 3.15.0. Also, you can install it in VirtualBox (as long as you have enough RAM :-) ). Time to hone my routing skills I guess!

Thank you very much Kevin, having a free virtual router that can do all the functions you need it to do is pretty awesome. Is there something like this for switches out there where you can install the switch virtually and do all the commands thats come with a switch ?
