Yes 🙌🏽 definitely watch the movie. It’s a good laugh. I grew up watching Weird Al in the 80s. He opened for my first concert for The Monkees (minus Mike Nesmith) when I was like 12 years old. I think Weezer did a good job doing this cover. 🤘🏽

Weezer’s cover album is actually pretty damn good.

My favourite part of this story is that a Twitter user had been trying for YEARS to get Weezer to cover Africa, and they finally tweeted her back something cryptic and then the next day released their cover version of … Rosanna by Toto.

Also, Weird Al is a damn good human. One of the nicest celebrities I’ve ever met, and puts on a phenomenal live show.)

Yea the Harry Potter actor plays Weird Al. Weezer also does a good cover of Ah Ha’s Take On Me. The unplugged version is also very good. One of my of my favorite Weezer songs is Perfect Situation (in which there’s a version with the actor Jorge Garcia).
