Weird Al, a man whose career has outlasted most of those he parodied.

Brian Setzer (the musician) once seriously stated that Weird Al was the most talented musician he’s ever heard, due to the fact that he parodies nearly every single genre and dozens of artists and he excels at performing all of their styles.
Tons of his original songs are excellent too.

I stood in line to get into San Diego Comic Con behind Weird Al about 20-25 years ago (wasn’t a long line, like 10 mins), super nice guy. Totally humble, friendly, was just there as a general person not in a panel or at a booth or anything, just joked around with the people in line around him, and then waved and went on his way like a normal person. Total class act.

I'm fairly convinced that Weird Al is some unique blend between a genius composer and a part-time ninja.

It's so crazy to me that when I was a kid, in the 80's, I wrote Weird Al a letter, and he sent a hand written response with a picture and an autograph. That's probably one of the main reasons he's still around, he's a super cool dude. I was 40 years old the first time I saw him in concert, only regret is I waited so long!

My God! Whoever came up with the idea of matching these two improbable artists, is a genius!! Never a fan of remakes or covers, but this one should make TOTO proud. Seeing a serious Weird Al displaying true musical talent, is a gift.

Al keeps blowing my mind. I love him so much, he’s a real idol to look up too. He beats the odds that seemingly stacked against him. Some how we can always find him again or re-find him. Weird Al will never get old, for me.
