In Bengal it's impossible to find vegetarian food in restaurant but if you go to any house you will get best vegetarian food that too without onion and garlic Bengalis consider onion, garlic and moosur dal non veg as they are tamasik I bet you will get so much variety even after excluding paneer north Indians have never thought that something like this can also be veg food
