Love this, it’s the way I putted when at my best, injury forced me to change slightly and I’ve never been the same since. Don’t forget green reading as being a fundamental, doesn’t matter how good your stroke is, if you can’t read the greens.

This video affirms what I’ve felt when I’ve been putting my best, which is so reassuring by removing uncertainties I’ve had. Awesome!🙌🏻

Your videos are so good. I’ve learnt so much and my handicap has gone from 15 to 11 in less than 1 months. Thank you

20 yrs ago I was told to rock the baby without really understanding what that meant. Now I know. Great video as usual guys and thanks for sharing.

Great video, thanks. No mention though of eye dominance affects in the setup?

So i noticed TJ going with a cemter shafted putter, would a correlation be made that shoulder roundness is puuter balance dependent. Tiger always did alot of things similar to this stroke put advocated for more extended posture in the back.

You mentioned Yips. How about a followup video on how you help people with the yips?

Great sessions, really like the "Force direction" terms in your other videos, helps me think differently about how to bring the club head around. But (always a but right), around 13:25 your use of the word "lever" confuses me a bit, do you mean "hinge"?...Forgive my technicality but I'm a technician, it can be a curse.

Great video, I find it very hard to keep my putter back stroke on line on shorter putts without having quite rigid arm structure, you seem to be proponents of the complete opposite of that elbow tucked, triangle style. How do you deal with really small stroke putts and keeping the putter head flowing on line? It's very easy for the putter to come inside on short putts without that trail elbow tuck, I find.

Considering how knowledgeable you are, I'm putting this out there with a "with all due respect", only meaning well... but I've heard you mention 'dynamic loft' in a few videos in a way that is more descriptive of 'spin loft'. Since there are so many terms in 'technical golf' I DO think it's important to use the right one.

Loft: static loft of the golf club. The way the club was made and the specs you find online. "This 7-iron is 33 degrees".
Dynamic Loft: if you sole a 33-degree 7-iron on the ground with a vertical shaft, and you lean the shaft forward 3 degrees to deloft the club you end up with a Dynamic Loft of 30 degrees. Similarly, if you lean the shaft backward and add 3 degrees of loft, your Dynamic Loft would be 36 degrees. So, Dynamic Loft considers shaft lean, but it does NOT consider Angle of Attack (vertical movement of the club).
Spin Loft: Dynamic loft minus Angle of Attack. A 33-degree 7-iron that is delivered to the ball with 3 degrees of forward shaft lean and a -4 degree (downwards) Angle of Attack has a Spin Loft of 34 degrees: DL (33-3) - AoA (-4) = 34.

It should be said that Spin Loft is a vector considering the whole path of the club in 3D space as well as the Face Angle relative to the path. But in simplified terms, when viewed from the side, it's the DL minus the AoA.

COACH you know Bryson is an AMAZING putter. And it's okay to be an outlier. For as unconventional as Brysons work can be, it is as structured/measured as anything can possibly be. I think there's advocacy for both methods. I think you make fair points but it's just a preference thing at the end of the day IMO. But, you do need to have some form of structure regardless. Great video!!

Lots and lots of false opinions but no substitute for hundreds of hours under a string on 3 to 6 foot putts. Every great putter has gone through that. The string is only to find and keep a straight putt. The hundreds of hours teaches you what works and what doesn't. In the end you'll find Crenshaw really knew how to putt off that ultra light grip. A putter running under it's own momentum (released) has less propensity to twist than a putter which is human controlled. Tiger does this with his life long right hand only drill. He takes away control of himself. Just be sure to go under and not around through impact. After about 200 hours I taught myself how to putt at the touring pro level. You will discover that blade height off the ground at impact controls blade angle. It is NOT for good roll like everyone falsely thinks. People forget about the effects of the required tilted plane. The blade closes the more it is off the ground at and through impact. This can and is used to an advantage by good putters. They aim right edge and double their margin for error. Nicklaus just admitted he did hat in reverse. It is for real and it works. 200 If you can't putt the day after you practice, your problem is timing came in and you need to develop a RELEASED stroke where timing is not a factor. Don't waste your time practicing off a controlled stroke. It never holds up.
