In this video, we will be talking about why some consumers don't like the 2023 Honda CR-V! So clearly, you do not want to miss out on this, so, without further ado, let's start with today's video.

Initially introduced back in 1997 and still evolving steadily, releasing yearly models even up to New Years in 2022, Honda has continued to improve upon its original design and working of a compact SUV.
This new SUV class has stayed true to its original formula while bringing about improvements, doubling down on its handling, interior space, transmission, and reliability. But, not every generation of the Honda CRV has been widely regarded.
Though it likely will not turn any heads, this ideal small family vehicle has a long list of redeeming qualities. It is hard to go a day without spotting a Honda CR-V in a parking lot or on the road, so it's no surprise that the compact SUV is Honda's runaway best-seller. The Honda CR-V's competitors include compact SUVs like the Chevrolet Equinox, Nissan Rogue and Toyota RAV4.

The SUV operates the majority of the time as a series hybrid. One is a 181 horsepower generator or starter motor, and the other a propulsion motor. The propulsion motor drives the CR-V's wheels while the engine generates electricity for the traction battery as well as the propulsion motor. The CR-V's system can switch to parallel hybrid operation when it needs more power.

If you want your Honda CR-V to handle some towing duties, you will be better off looking at the Toyota RAV4, which has a 3,500 pound tow rating, or the Jeep Cherokee with its 4,500 pound tow rating.
The maximum towing of the new Honda CR-V is 1,500 pounds. That is hardly enough to take a trailer of camping gear with you. But remember, you have to add the trailer's weight to the mix, which might mean you are pulling an empty trailer with the Honda.
Either way, the Honda CR-V could be uncomfortable for people who happen to be sensitive to the slightest changes in temperature.

The all new Honda CR-V will have a more straightforward interior that aligns with the brand's new philosophy, "Simplicity and something." Consumers say that Honda should use a slimmer dashboard and clean up the CR-V's center console by relocating the infotainment system screen as well as reducing the number of physical controls there.
The 2023 CR-V will probably feature a new touchscreen infotainment system with deeper integration of Google services. In September 2021, Honda announced that future Honda models would integrate Google's in-vehicle connected service and that it would launch the first of these models in North America in the second half of this year.

The release date and the global relevance suggest that the debut CR-V model for the advanced Google system could be the new Honda CR-V. With Google built-in, customers will use Google Assistant, Google Maps, and Google Play directly through native apps installed on the vehicle's infotainment system.

Some Honda CR-V owners have just one complaint about their SUV, and the multimedia system is not user-friendly. In a car expert's review of the 2019 CR-V, they came to a similar conclusion.

Honda is a very family dedicated company for their CR-V class models, which are one of the best SUV class cars on the market.
Despite some years having less than adequate remarks and a lot of problems, they are still more reliable than their rivals. These might have been the best and worst years for Honda CRVs.
If you're wondering if the CR-V is still a good option, then yes, the Honda CR-V is a decent SUV.

Well, guys, that is all for today!

I'm glad I bought the 2022 CRV. I have had mine over 1 year and still love it. I have had 0 issues. Honda knows how to built their vehicles with quality workmanship.

I finally got mine and I love it. I did plenty of research on all suv competitors and the CRV was the best choice for me.

I’m on my 8th year with my 2015 CRV AWD and still considering to purchase another CRV while keeping the old reliable one:)

I just hit 105, 150 miles on my 2007 CR-V EX-L. I have had minor mechanical repairs but it still runs great.

AND I had a 2007 CR-V EX-L. Bought it new. When I traded it, it had 397, 000 miles. Only repairs were to replace the wheel bearings and the alternator. In hindsight, I probably should have kept it. One of the best vehicles for its value on the market…still.

No one is talking about the 1.5L Turbo oil dilution issue.

I think for me reliability, driveability and safety including resale value is my number one consideration on buying honda cr v, not on infotaiment alone, I have a 2021 honda cr v which is great no problem so far, I love the riding comfort and safety of this model

We have a 2016 CRV EXL, bought new. All I have had to do to it is replace 2 headlights and one battery. It now has around 65K miles. I would buy another, probably a Hybrid version.

I love the 6th generation Crv but the only thing is I wish they would've put a panoramic sunroof in the new version.

Summary of the video: There is no reason to not buy it, you should buy it, it is one of the best of its price range.

The transmission in this vehicle is ingenious. The two electric motors really run the show. It’s a CVT with no belt. It runs just fine. It’s not a race car. I’d buy one in a minute. Doesn’t really matter, because you can’t get one. 4 to 6 month wait.

Maybe these clowns should wait until this thing hits the US market, before they judge it not worth buying. These speculative new vehicle videos are YouTubes' version of spam.

I have a 2014 CR-V. It's the best vehicle I've ever owned. No rattles, squeaks or external noise. Starts every time, plenty of power to get out of it's own way. Honda has set the standard.

2023 will be a completely new generation and hasn’t even been officially revealed. Too early to speculate on how old customer feedback will impact this new model. But I am curious if the hybrid will have a spare tire? Will an improved audio system be adopted? Honda Sensing 360? Any surprise features/tech for this segment? Will 1st year model in 2023 have built in obsolescence…removing features such as fog lights only to be added later (yeah, Toyota did that)? 2023 RAV4 rumored to be getting much needed interior and safety tech upgrades, however, some issues seem to have plagued multiple years which surprises me from Toyota (fuel tank, hybrid cable corrosion, etc.). Until a new generation of RAV4 introduced, I think the new CR-V will be a better buy long term.

I have a 2021 CR-V. With the electric motor, it gets up and goes just fine. Put it in Sport mode and you will get thrown back in your seat. Styling is far better than the RAV4. The one thing that swayed me against the Toyota is the analog gauges in a hybrid. Just seems cheap. The CR-V is all digital. Gas mileage is awesome. I can easily get 37+ mpg with a mix of city and highway speeds. Lastly, I heard about all the infotainment concerns when I first did my research. I am not sure what people are talking about. I find the Toyota system to far less intuitive. The reaction of the CR-V infotainment seems fine to me. I get into the vehicle and it connects right up. Bottomline, totally happy with my Honda.
