Hoovie needs to start buying the 2ND cheapest (whatever) in the US going forward. The cheapest ones are beyond a No Bueno.

The Wizard scored a hat trick with Hooves. He found a Golden Goose, Job Security and his retirement all in one!

Pretty impressive it was still running given all the abuse it took. I doubt the previous owner did half the required maintenance and definitely beat the HELL out of it.

.. why don't you just lay some wood planking into that trough to bring it up to the height of the road at the start of the driveway so you can use the entrance until the asphalt can be laid?

TRUE STORY: A year or so ago I was driving home from work when the guy in front of me, very gently and very slowly, drove off the right hand side of the road at highway speed and without any brakes drove down into the culvert and then, yes, just like you stated, he "Dukes of Hazzard'ed" it off the edge of someone's driveway and launched his Buick a good 20+ feet into the air before tumbling three or four times, landing on his roof. All because he fell asleep at the wheel. So, yes, people do actually hit driveways edge-on via the ditch. EDIT: Being the first one on the scene, I found him uninjured hanging from his seatbelt. He released it (against my recommendations) and fell head first into all the broken glass. But he was panicking so... He was also too large to fit out the now squished side windows. After confirming he wasn't injured I pulled him out by his feet. He was a BIG boy. He sat against a tree while we waited for 911 to respond. He said he had fallen asleep. I have video of our conversation and the wreckage after the accident.

70k miles of 700+hp being thrashed is actually impressive

That thing was definetly a takeover car.. All those accidents are more than likely from hitting other cars while doing donuts on an intersection lol

There’s some guy down in a Florida watching this in his mobile home laughing his ass off about his former car. Mr. Wolf must have been a complete badass. As a Kansas resident, I can assure you that part of the state was a rough area in 1870.

That F word in the driveway when the car drove by was hilarious

I had a classmate in highschool die in a car crash to a culvert headwall like you had so i am glad the county is making you fix it. It will be a much better condition.

Don't put that clutch back in. Don't.

That Hellcat lived most of its 70000 miles on or near the limiter

Pretty much all used hellcats were abused

Dropping $10k into this Hellcat isn’t really that bad cause you could have bought more expensive $40-$50k version and still have the Hemi tick . At Lesa’s this way you’re getting a rebuilt motor that will last a while. Almost every hellcat you buy is going to be beaten up.

People don’t understand that although these are built for racing they even professional drag racing teams have to rebuild their engines from time to time and maintenance on race teams is constant.

They call it Dodge because Avoid was too obvious 😅

"Bad attention from the county" is a funny way of saying the driveway was not built to code & was deemed a hazard. The justification also makes total sense, though is not something I would have thought of (though I don't work in the construction industry). I wonder if a permit is required for this kind of work and if one was pulled (no idea what the local/state laws for this would be). Fingers crossed everything else Hoovie has done has been done correctly to code with proper permits and this goof didn't just throw up a bunch of red flags for the county to start poking at the rest of his home reno.

I must say that the whole dirt buildup on the sides of the driveway makes sense

Re: the amendments to the highway entry - it’s a reasonable standard - there was kid killed near here who hit the ditch and slammed into an entry wall.
