Magneto hydrodynamics, MHD for plasma rocket engines
MHD is simply running plasma through a magnetic field and sticking in a pair of electrodes.
Run it one way and you get power out. Run it the other way and put power in and you increase the velocity the plasma.
This increases thrust. This is the beginings of a magnethydrodynamic drive.

No, you can create a gravity bubble by changing the magnetism of the ions surrounding your object, I think you can point the energy vortex in the direction you want to go and pull yourself along with the magnetism

How would you cool this? Plasma generates a significant amount of heat and would require some form of cooling in a larger scale
