SG government could invest a lot more. We need electric buses, electric car infrastructure for charging.
For people, plastic recycling is still in an terrible state in SG. More awareness is needed in recycling right, like Japan.
Last but not least, the government should stop the excuses! Half of Singapore's prosperity was literally built up by the oil boom in 60-90s. All these petrochemical companies in SG need to pay their dues for their success.

As someone with experience of working in this industry. Climate change at the portfolio level is known as the Green washing, at the middle level as the government subsidies and tariffs, and financially at the operational level as PR or just marketing.

btw, the term carbon footprint was first promoted and popularized by BP (British Petroleum, big oil company) in 2004. Giant corporations are the biggest contributors to climate change, not individuals. BP also contributed in the Iran coup of 1953, ousting democratically elected Mossadegh. At that time, BP was known as Anglo-Iranian Oil Company. Climate change is real, but it was not because of you, it's giant corpos.
