Thank you Dr Parker. This really has given me some hope. I am a IMG and currently doing my residency in neurosurgery in South Africa. My wife is American and the dream is to immigrate to the US. Currently I am also studying for my usmle and trying my best to network with American neurosurgeons. I know it's a long shot but at least I can see that it's worth the try.
