I appreciate a smaller phone. It fits in my pocket, I can comfortably use it in one hand, and it doesn’t look like i’m holding a baking sheet against my face when talking on it. I actually miss the size of the iPhone 5.

I think that Apple should've released the mini 6 months after the release of the standard 13 and the Pro models. That way, the mini isn't looked as the most inferior phone out of the bunch. If Apple released it 6 months after alongside the SE, people can have a choice between which new shiny small phone they'd prefer.

I currently use the iPhone 12 mini and it is perfect, I have “middle” sized hands so this is perfect for me to use one handed, the battery is not as bad as everyone puts it to, I can get a good 5-6 hours without a charge. I love this phone and highly recommend it to people looking for a smaller phone that will last!

I’ve gotten so accustomed to the size of my 12 mini that whenever I have to use my old 6” android phone (I use it for alarms), it feels like a tablet. I’ve gotten to hate the size of my old android phones the more I use my iPhone. Highly recommend too

I had the iPhone 12 mini and loved it! Powerful, great cameras, easy to use, put in a pocket, etc. Yes, the battery life was its weakest point but I wasn't a power user or on my phone constantly....so the battery was perfect for me and lasted me all day. I was hesitant to upgrade but pulled the trigger and traded-in for a 13 mini. Battery life on the 13 mini is a BIG improvement, so i don't feel bad for giving up the 12 mini. The cameras on the 13 to me are about the same, although night photos are great with less noise. One other thing I want to point out too that no one has mentioned, the speakers on the 13 mini sound more crisp and clear too. I absolutely loved the 12 mini, so if you're on a tight budget...it's truly a great phone to have! My iPhone 13 mini will be my phone for many years, I love it!

I love my 12 mini. It was a no brainer choice for me back in November 2021, when I was needed desperately a replacement for my old iPhone 8. I was initially wanted the 13 mini but it was unavailable in my region till late December, plus the 12 mini was sold at 699€ at that point. A great choice. My only two things to be desired (vs 13 mini) are 1) the battery life and 2) the camera, especially the new picture styles and the bigger sensor. But in general I am pretty ok with 12 mini. It’s a shame that Apple will stop make new mini iPhones…

Agree, love the size of the 12/13 mini. Perfect size for pants or jacket pockets during the workday. Pairs great with iPad mini for content consumption. ( I also drive a MINI. Maybe there’s a theme here?? Nah! ) Apple, please surprise us and keep the mini form around. :-(

Completely agree. It’s been a year since I bought the 12 mini (mines purple), and I love it!! Fantastic colours and the phone is very powerful for its mundane uses.

I think what doomed the Mini the most (and what most people forget) is that there was like a 2 month delay on them being available after announcement. People who were ready to upgrade to the newest iPhone at the time had to weigh waiting 2 more months or just getting the identical, but slightly larger, standard iPhone 12. Had the Mini been available day 1, I think they would have had a lot more success because to non-"pro" users, it was the "something else" and also cheaper for same power. Sadly, we live in a world that can't stand to wait for things.

I REALLY hope they continue the Mini line because I think it will start to catch on more if given the chance and the battery life continues to be stronger year-over-year with processor enhancements.

I bought a used $699 128gb iPhone 13 mini for $400 on offer up. Around May 2022.

It was used and had a small dent on metal but no cracked screen. Still felt like a new phone I bought myself.

I bought one used 500 cad, upgraded from a 5s and not really bothered by the size difference, I miss the home button and my headphone jack but man this phone is so much faster and easier to use

A word of warning about 3rd party repairs: took my SE 1 to Apple the other day for a battery replacement (1st with Apple, 2nd overall replacement) and they opened it up and told me they couldn’t replace the battery because the glue was applied poorly in the previous repair. I would have had the battery replaced at a third party place again at this stage, but none had stock of the SE battery and many told me they wouldn’t again. Apple did have the battery in stock however. In short, always go to Apple for repairs. You will save money and headaches in the long run. I now have to let my SE go and look at new devices like the 12 mini.

On my opinion, you should buy it if you are ok with having a small phone because with the time you’ll get easily tired of it’s size, I have one and I got it in around February, The phone handles well, good screen and battery and comfortable on hand, but I am tired of the size, so if you like an all phone feel comfortable on taking it, and if you don’t I do not recommend, great phone, too small

Not that long ago I traded out my long-serving 6s for a 12 mini. And honestly, it doesn't feel so mini! It's the perfect size for a phone, and only slightly smaller than my previous phone! (and not even the smallest phone I've had first was a 4!) And the 12 mini was also the phone that finally got me to switch to Airpods!


I feel like it's weird how everybody wants the Promax, nobody needs a phone that big in my opinion. I also have an iphone 11, and in my guise it's already a Promax LOL.

Had the 12 mini for about a year before upgrading to the 13 pro. Seriously considering going back to the 12 mini as I still have it sitting in my drawer. Miss the small form factor and the blue finish and tbh I can't tell the quality of the photos shot by each from one another. The main consideration for me getting the 13 pro was the battery and the display though
