Heraklion is the largest city of the island of Crete in Greece with a population of 220,000. The city of Heraklion, also known as Candia, Chandakas, Megalokastro, was founded by the Arabs in the 9th century. However, Heraklion was fortified during the Venetian occupation to protect the city and the island against invading Ottoman Turks. The Turkish conquest of the city in 1669 took almost 25 years and was the longest siege in world history.

Δε λέω συμπαθητικό βίντεο αλλά στην πραγματικότητα το Ηράκλειο είναι πολύ περισσότερα από τα κουράκεια έργα που με επιμονή παρουσιάζονται ειδικά στο πρώτο μέρος. Οι Ηράκλειτος ξέρουμε καλά πως φτιάχτηκαν ξαι σε τι χρησίμευαν και χρησιμεύουν. "Ναοί ρευστοποιησης"...
