I get that for a large number of rows that this appears easier than just dragging down, but presumably every cell now has a formula in it that has to recalculate every time the sheet is updated. Not good practice having lots of unnecessary formulas. I guess you could copy the column and 'paste values' into the next column before deleting the first one. Same result but no unnecessary formulas left in the sheet.

It's better to drag upto 356 by writing day 1 in initial coloumn

U can do this with dates and other things as well. The SEQUENCE has 4 variables, SEQUENCE(rows, [columns], [start], [step]). Rows and Columns define how many rows and columns you sequence should span. The statt is your start due, I.e. a date or number, etc and the steps is how many steps it will display in that sequence. It's quite a powerful function which can be used for so much!

Try holding down the ctrl key AFTER clicking the small square that appears in the lower right of the cell. Then drag down. (Also try Shift and Alt combinations)
