Transformers Rise of the Beasts filmed there. Also the promotional art put out shows Inca carvings of beasts in a circular "calendar" design. Oddly enough set photos show a circular stone formation on the ground and it opens to become a spiral staircase to a room. I'm assuming ancient man believed them to be significant & hold some level of importance? I've always enjoyed how in the films Transformers always are tied to past events and ancient societies, including sites and monuments.
