In the Netherlands in the province Friesland, we have a legend of a giant man named Pier Gerlofs Donia nicknamed Grutte (Giant) Pier (born around 1480 and died in 1520). He was known as a Frisian rebel leader and pirate who wielded a massive 7ft two handed sword in battle and he himself was believe to be over 7ft tall and legend has it that he had superhuman strenght. His 7ft sword is on display at the Fries museum in Leeuwarden and was also featured in the show Forged in Fire

When I picture a giant, I envisage a 20 to 30ft person. A 7 - 8ft person however I'd call very tall. Maybe even exceptionally tall, but not giant.

I guess this means that the Smithsonian made a huge mistake by eliminating all those giant skeletons.

There's news stories in early American papers that speak of the bones of giants being found. Lots. There's also stories of the bones going to museums, and "mysteriously" being lost. Abraham Lincoln wrote that giant's bones were found in the mounds of America. The question is, why do we only here about these things in media like this, rather than in history books?

There were astonishingly immense comets in 1811 and in 1812. They were called the Tecumseh or Napoleon Comets. Both followed low flying paths and appeared fantastically enormous. The one in 1812 remained visible for 11 months. There were volcanoes exploding in the West Indies, Indonesia and Russia.

This was a way to guard against the giants who were commonly known to have 6 fingers and toes with double rows of teeth! Size can very, and red hair can be shaved or covered. But an extra digit is hard to conceal.

There's talk about an almost 14 foot skeleton being found yet again in Southern Kentucky. Ive always said Southern Kentucky hold giants bones. All the caves there im sure there are still things to be found.
