The brick was sinking and it turned out that there was an old broken drainage pipe under the brick.
I removed the chipmunk nest, plugged the pipe with concrete and relayed the brick.

Все выходные мы выкладывали камни у меня во дворе! Правда там не было дырок, но было много травы и мы вот так по одному кирпичику очищали территорию! Мои дети мне помогали, а они девчонки, но справились с работой отлично! У вас классно получилось, хорошая работа!

Thank you for not putting the whole repair on top of concrete, I had a customer have me repair someone else's "repair" and they decided to bed the whole thing in 'crete. All of the pavers were destroyed and irreplaceable so they ended up relaying everything instead of proper maintenance like this. Nice work man!

I do this constantly for people who have sea walls. The fun part is figuring out where the substrate is draining to.

We started using 3/8 in clean under the pavers 1in deep instead of sand because it don't wash out. Haven't had any call backs on sunken paver since we started this method
