Wolfey is so much more professional in this video. It's a nice contrast from the style of wideos on his channel. It really shows how flexible he is as a youtubist

I love that Wolfey mentions that G-max Coalassol and G-Max Charizard and didn't mention that he is the one that made those teams

Seeing them in this video really shows how versatile the two can be outside their respective channels

Wolfey is saying the names of all the Pokemon very weirdly.

I love that they showed some clips with shiny cramorant in them, referring to the cramorant Plup used in Wolfey's invitational tournament

Wolfe so formal, he even mispronounced Cinderachi's name.

I’m kinda surprised Amoongus isn’t breaking out in popularity in the meta, but I guess it also makes sense given the popularity of Rillaboom and other grass types in the meta game, not to mention the occasional electric terrain (and rare misty terrain)

A part of me thinks Talonflame might be a sleeper in the current meta game with priority Tailwind when at full HP, outspeeding a taunt from Whimsicott.

Even without priority, it’s high speed stats can allow for fast moving support moves that Talonflame gets along with Tailwind. Taunt, Quick guard, Will-O-Wisps, and Defog are moves that range from situational to great.

Actually, I just learned Defog clears terrain in gen 8, which is something I think is underutilized as a strategy currently. If Talonflame comes back into the meta I would think Defog would be one of the most common moves on it. And I didn’t realize it’s a flying move so it would get +1 priority given it’s a flying move so it would go before an Alolan Raichu in Electric Terrain or Grassy Glide Rillaboom in Grassy Terrain.

It’s also a counter to Rillaboom (though I haven’t done damage calcs as to how well Talonflame can take its attacks or visa-versa).

Plus, Cinderace’s top 5 moves right now is not very effective given Talonflame’s typing or Quick Guard can be used for Sucker Punch.

Should do a show where a pro of another game gives wolfe and aaron 6 pokemon to use on a team and they try to make it work.

I think Wolfey is at his best when he's taking the game seriously but I know that his most succesful wideos are the ones where he goofs around and does reactions etc. I'll support his content either way.
