This kit should be a must for new reefers. Its absolutely worth the money to have easy, repeatable test results. Youre gonna end up going through 20 different test kits and refractometers and you'll probably end up settling on the hanna anyways, so just bite the bullet and buy everything you need up front.

I love my Alk and Cal checkers. One thing iv learned with the calcium checker is it's best to use their water. My readings have been way way better using their water.
I did just order the copper and ULR Po4 checker. Cant wait for those.

Love the Hanna testers but from personal experience I would rather buy them separately as the calcium one is not worth the money, you have to be so meticulous to get it perfect or your result will be wrong. Always use Hanna for phosphate and alkalinity and highly recommend them. Don't have the salinity checker yet, thanks for the quick demo on that, looks like a much better option than my refractometer.

Could never get the Ca test to work properly
Alkalinity is goo but found when I changed bottles there was a big jump
Phosphate ULR test is awesome, and for me the best of the bunch

I just bought the Hanna alkalinity checker and some extra reagent last week. Very easy to use! Great test kit, unfortunately this pro kit is for the time being out of my budget.

I recently got the Ca and Alk checkers and I love them. For someone who is heavily vision impaired like myself, theyre a life saver, hands down.

I would advise GHL KH Director and Ion Director and you test everything outside of Phosphate automatically multiple times per day

The kit is a life saver although is it just me or between using the Hanna solutions does anyone else get a bit of a descrepency I've gotten as much a .2 difference when using a new reagent vs old. Ive even zero calibrated with the Hanna calibration solution and gotten similar results. Have you experienced anything similar Big T?

I wish they would create an ammonia test. Those color charts suck when you have Deuteranomaly!
