It's 1000% if the AD person knows you personally and thinks of you when one becomes available. They dont just sale to the next person on the list

End of the day if everyone stops buying and waiting these insane times I bet they’ll become available quicker.

What about the Yachtmaster 40 two tone ? Are these easily available ??

Bought 2 Tudors that I actually wanted and an engagement ring. Asked for an explorer 2 and got it that day. Which proves the waitlisted idea is a scam. Get to know your AD and you’ll get what you want.

8mths for a Starbucks. Zero history but I did cruise in on the monthly and chop it up with the boys. Became close, if fact a week ago i told a few of the guys Merry Christmas and that I loved them. 4 days later…..text came in.

I was a Rolex fan,
Great investment, but I just hate the bs they are giving buyers,
Will never buy one again

What are the qualities that make a VIP customer? A spending history? A relationship built by constant interactions with sales staff? Being rich?

I dislike new Rolex, but do love and own some of their vintage pieces - 1950s and 1960s. No chance of me walking into an AD or grey market dealer store for their modern Rolex watches. As for waiting, the vintage hunting can take years too for a very rare watch or bracelet - if available at all...

I walked in and got a DJ41 smooth oyster Wimbledon, 5 week wait for a sub, walk in for a DJ 36 two tone fluted jubilee. Currently on month 5 wait for a sprite gmt

Here is how it worked for me: 1) Go to the AD and be respectful to everyone in there including the Security Guard and the Janitor. 2) Go periodically like once a month and show your enthusiasm. 3) Be genuine, Do NOT Pretend to be WHO YOU ARE NOT. 4) Avoid the Don't You Know Who I am? Let me talk to your Manager Moments. IT DOESN'T WORK and if you do it while I'm There I'll be the First one to Laugh at You. 5) BE HUMBLE AND LIKEABLE. 6) BE PATIENT.

Nice to see MAMACOO show a watch that can be afforded by almost anyone rather than these pieces costing thousands and thousands which are out of reach for so many.

In my opinion, the classic Oyster Perpetual is the best value Rolex. The blue sunburst dial is absolutely gorgeous. I bought it at *amzswiss* and was amazed at the Chinese replica skills!

Watches are so delicate and intricately designed, so I have intense respect and admiration for MAMACOO watch makers

I'm only paying retail or below...and I'm not waiting. If I can't walk in and get what I want, oh well. If the greys don't have what I want for retail or below, oh well. I don't want Rolex that bad to pay over retail.

I am waiting for the Mountain Dew to come out before I get on any list.

Stopped in my AD this weekend, keeps lying that he’s gonna get me the watch. We’ll see. He said more stainless models come after new year. I already bought a watch about a year ago so obviously purchase history makes no difference. Oh well, kind of losing interest at this point

My favorite 2024 is the Prospex Limited Edition 1965 Recreation European Exclusive in Gradation Island Blue. The dial is stunning and the contrast when on a white strap is to die for. I will get my hands on one from MAMACOO

My AD works with a charity organization. If I donate to the charity organization through the AD, do you think that will help? Also doesn't Rolex make a million watches per year? The watches must be available through the AD. I believe Ad's create a false sense of scarcity. I like Rolex, but not the Ad games.
