The Miracle Fat Loss Drug I Had To Stop Taking

Semaglutide is a glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonist that was originally developed for the treatment of type 2 diabetes. GLP-1 is a hormone produced in the intestines that increases insulin secretion, reduces glucagon secretion (a hormone that raises blood sugar), slows gastric emptying, and reduces appetite. GLP-1 receptor agonists, like semaglutide, mimic the effects of the natural hormone, leading to various beneficial effects in people with type 2 diabetes.

In addition to its effects on blood sugar control, semaglutide, like other GLP-1 receptor agonists, has been noted to cause weight loss in many patients. This effect is believed to be primarily due to its appetite-suppressing properties. Given the weight loss effect, researchers began investigating the potential of semaglutide as a treatment for obesity.

I know a lot of people share concerns about weight regain afterwards. I'll let you know but I think lifestyle and habitual change is essential to maintain any fat loss irrespective of whatever method is used to obtain it. We shall see. Thanks for watching.

James. First fitness person that I started watching religiously in June 22. You helped get me through the first 6 months. Since Father’s Day of last year to today, 248 to 192. No crazy diets. Many thanks for doing what you do.

I saw your "Do something for 100 days" video last year and was inspired to start drawing more regular. I didn't manage the full 100 days but as a result of your video, I started uploading to this channel and now, nearly a year later, I've smashed my target of 1000 subs and am making small steps towards my goal of quitting my factory job and drawing for a living. Thanks James, you should be proud of all the people who you help to improve their lives.

"Action always precedes motivation" - this is a game changer!! It might seem like nothing (and I'm sure obvious to a lot of folk) but I'm one of those people who is waiting for something to click to force me to make changes to get to where I want to be. This is a great way of looking at things differently - when you are stuck in a rut. Thank you!!

This is why i'm subscribed to you.
You had an opinion, was informed why it might not be entirely factually based, looked into it, and now have shifted slightly

We need more people like you 👏🏻

i've been taking Semaglutide in the form of ozempic for the last 5 months, Was prescribed it for type 2 diabetes at my peak i was a hefty 257KG now im down to 190KG this literally saved my life, It pretty much forced me to change my eating habits due to not being able to digest as my normal rate so my stomach was fuller for longer and suppressed my appetite.

Now I'm much lighter and mobile its given me the motivation and confidence to start adding strength training and walking out in public to further lose weight. if I keep this up wont need that gastric sleeve.

Yep, I’ve lost almost 50 lbs in less than 4 months on this peptide. I’m finally a healthy weight. Not to say this is a miracle drug, but it’s close. I’ve had to change how I eat by focusing on protein first so you do have to do your part, but this makes it possible.

Thank you for your honesty.

Loved this video. I was sceptical at 1st too. But 3 months in and nearly 2 dress sizes down; i'm glad i started it. I still train and prioritise protein and fibre. I no longer get cravings and the constant "food chatter" has gone.

Not found time to become a super fan yet but, every time I hear this lad, he's super honest and always bang on the money.. Dry as furk humour but, actual wisdom is always present.. What he said at the end regarding motivation and action..? That's actual gold.. I'm not young and, I needed to hear that myself.. Today..

Ok I tried this 2 years ago.. A little background-Im 58 yo male type 2 diabetic. 6'2" 260 lbs. My MD prescribed Ozempic for the diabetes and I wasnt active at the time and I thought OK I'll give this a try. I tried this for a month and felt terrible ie nausea, cramping and just general malaise. In addition I didnt lose any weight. Yes I know shocking! Fast forward to today. I am now 220 lbs and in good health with diabetes managed without any medicine through dietary choices and activity. I am very active with biking, rowing and weight training doing one of those activities 6days/week. I havent felt this good in many years. I just cannot imagine myself going back to my old lifestyle that put me in the sorry shape I was. Point of the story is- look at all the options in front of you.Ozempic is not the only one and it is not magic. Good luck to anyone that wants to make positive changes in their lives!!!!

Attention: not every person, that hasn‘t a gym membership isn‘t doing a sport! There are alot of different sports that don‘t require a gym membership.

Gotten down from 105kg to 80kg at 175cm through diet and working out. Might have to ask my GP about this for the last 10kg, thanks for all the videos mate, they’ve really helped considering they’re from someone who knows the struggles of being overweight.

This video was interesting, specially when in combination with the ADHD video. I recently was diagnosed (or as much as you can be diagnosed by a psychiatrist and a seperate psychologist, I guess) with ADHD too. And started taking some medication to see how I felt. Apparently, the feeling that mentioned at 4:00 is something that can be connected to ADHD as well. We're impulsive, we want fast and easy "pleasures" so our brains can get that sweet ass dopamine hit. I was like that with food. I was not hungry, but I constantly felt like eating. A common side effect of the medication I'm taking is loss of appetite. Apparently, because your brain becomes better at managing those impulses, so you will tend to eat less. Now I'm the one leaving food on my plate, or serving a lot less, because I don't think I will need so much food.

Just wanted to give that side note, since I also started following you recently. Keep up the good work James!
