The worst thing is that it was his father’s Guitar that had passed away. It was the only thing he had. That judge had no right to go up there and smash that guitar. Shame on him for doing that and shame on him for being allowed to do that!

The complete look of innocence and trust when he just let the judge take his guitar…and then having it destroyed at his feet just breaks my heart. He didn’t deserve this, and may have just missed when they had asked him to stop. This went way too far and nothing on Earth will bring that guitar back. 😔😔😭

The judge lost his seat on the panel after this and his career also went downhill after this incident . He got what he deserved..kudos to that man for staying patient . His guitar value was more than this judges existence

That “judge” was so lucky that it was someone who could keep their cool because I bet you that if it was someone who couldn’t that “judge” most definitely wouldn’t have been able to walk off that stage. What that “judge” did was just unacceptable. A judge is supposed to evaluate you and give you criticism that can help you further achieve your goals and not someone who demolishes them. And that contestant wasn’t even that bad. He sang a little off key and didn’t play the right cords but you can still tell by just looking at him play that he genuinely enjoys it. A couple singing and guitar lessons could easily fix the mistakes that I’m hearing already and it can only improve from there. He has so much room to grow and if given encouragement and the correct advice he could easily become a top singer. From what I’m reading from the other comments it seems that the judge has been fired and has been struggling with his career as he should be. This “judge” will most likely never be able to judge professional ever again and so let it be a lesson to not be a dickhead and have some empathy.

What a horrible way to put someone down. People like this should not deserve being a judge. A proper judge should give someone CONSTRUCTIVE feedback, mentor them and nurture them. Not destroy someone’s dreams like that.
