Excel - Find and Identify the Duplicates and Unique Records

In this video we will cover how to filter out duplicates in Excel. This is a quick and painless process that anyone can do in Excel 2016 or Excel 2010 for identifying duplicate records. Basically, I will show you how to correctly get the duplicates or repeating values and identify them for further analysis.

Sometimes you want to remove or filter out duplicates in sheets. Other times you may want to identify duplicate records and then have a way to filter by either the unique values or the duplicates or repeating values. I show you in this video a data analysis task wherein One might want to identify repeating loyalty card numbers for customers - maybe a department or group wants to quickly identify customers that have visited more than once in the past month or bought a certain UPC, product or new item more then once. Maybe it would be a good idea to reward these repeat customers with a coupon to further drive sales and loyalty?

With the process in this video you will easily be able to identify duplicates in any recent version of Excel (2010, 2016, etc.) and quickly filter repeated data in excel. It doesn't matter if you are looking at data entries or ledger entries, budget line items, loyalty cards, Product UPCs, etc., you will be able to quickly filter out duplicates in excel with this excel duplicate remover and identifier process.
