My great-grandfather took me to an orchestra when i was around 6-7, he died several days later. This song is the only memory i have of him and i think of him every time i hear this.

When the sun has burned out to a red dwarf, the earth has become a dark desert, there will be a space capsule flying through the universe, carrying what is left from humanity, this piece of music.

Oh my god. I finally found it. I've finally found this masterpiece. I've been hearing it everywhere and for so long I could never find out what it was. And now I know. I can now put a name to this glorious piece of work that graced my presence for mere seconds before escaping my grasp.

I say, fellow Tubers of the You, this orchestral piece of musical sounds coming together is quite splendid.

I'm 17, and at my sisters graduation 11 years ago, I heard this song for the first time. I haven't heard it since. This song literally brought tears to my eyes. I'm crying as I type this.

While ever humanity exists this will cut straight through to their core. When people stop loving this kind of music then we'll know we've messed everything up.

Found this in my sisters record collection when I was about 10. Listened to Metallica mostly back then. I cried uncontrollably. This was the best thing I had ever heard.

It is the most intuitively beautiful melody ever composed... in my opinion... it was a gift from the sky.

Hope you older folks don't mind a 19 year old who listens to rap and dubstep listen to this wonderful master piece. I don't listen to much classical music but i certainly do enjoy them. I think a teen my age should listen to at least one classical song and enjoy it.

This piece triggers an avalanche of memories. So melancholic, so soothing, like a breeze on a scorching day....
This is the best composition of Bach.
