"Air on the G String", also known as "Air for G String" and "Celebrated Air", is August Wilhelmj's 1871 arrangement of the second movement of Johann Sebastian Bach's Orchestral Suite No. 3 in D major, BWV 1068. The arrangement differs from the original in that the part of the first violins is transposed down so that it can be played entirely on a violin's lowest string, i.e., the G string.

This music holds a lovely memory of me with my grandparents... now more than ever, i am convinced of the power of music.. it can transport you to a beautiful time, even with people who are no longer physically with you.. it revives the feeling of that moment, so tangible you could almost relive every part of that memory.. i didn't even know the title of this music at that time, i just know the harmony by heart.. im glad now i know how to identify this music.. thank you JS Bach for creating this wonderful work of art.. ❤❤❤

È davvero incredibile come tutto coincide.
Ora ti racconto : perció stavo suonando Liszt il sospiro ed ero tutta contenta che nonostante due giorni che non l 'ho suonato... Ok tutto liscio come l' olio quando nell' ultimo accordo ma proprio all' ultimo mi accorgo che c'è una nota stonata, sì l' accordo non quadra... " ma come mai non me ne sono accorta prima? Allora ho sbagliato" e il pensiero che mi va al nipotino è subito mi appare Liszt " digli che siamo al completo non c'è spazio né posto". Subito dopo Giancarlo mi fa uno scherzo mi toglie la corrente e così la pianola non suona più. Io "ma che hai fatto?" e lui scoppia in una fragorosa risata. Io rimetto la spina e cerco di ristabilire il contatto ma invano Liszt se n'è andato e l'accordo continua a uscire stonato, e di nuovo Giancarlo ' dai lascia perdere usciamo che non c'è più tempo tra poco è buio" e l " accordo mi è rimasto stonato, non è ancora chi. aro, ma mi sa se mi gira, che lo lascio così.
Tu che dici? Che te ne pare? Non c'è da rabbrividire con tutte queste coincidenze?
