Do NOT buy a Honda S600 or S800 - Community is BAD.

So, check this out. I bought a Honda S800 from overseas, which we all hear horror stories about importing cars, but we will leave out the details because the seller is a decent guy. I will take some blame and say the details were "lost in translation."

I started making videos about the car and working on it. The S600/S800 community started to attack me, saying I am lying about the car's condition, when you can clearly see the condition in the videos. There is real evidence. Videos. So, these guys decided to try to talk smack about me like 5th graders, and I decided to make sure no one makes the same mistake of owning one of these cars, due to the community and lack of parts.

I totally trust in what you say David, if you say they’re not good they must really be bad as I know you have an open mind and wear your heart on your sleeve.
It’s their loss to loose such a nice guy in their communities.

This is not unique to any group, over the twenty years of driving my 1968 911 I cannot tell you how many comments I received telling me how to restore or spend my money. Yes, I do own an early S car and have offered assistance and parts many times.
