We bought a new CRV in 2003 with the thought of driving it until it wouldn't run any longer. 18 years and 360K miles later we still have it. It just won't die!

My first car was a 2001 Honda CR-V I bought in 2014 off an older woman who had used it for church and groceries. In 2014, it only had 25k miles on it. I loved that car and took pride in taking care of it and would receive compliments about how well it was maintained whenever I got my oil changed or needed a new part or just by strangers at the gas station. Anyways, last month, someone was driving on the wrong side of the road and crashed into my car. Thankfully, no one was hurt, but my suspension was trashed. My beloved car is now in the junkyard in the sky. I'm close to purchasing a new vehicle, hoping for a 2013 CR-V. It's my first time interacting with a dealership so I've been researching up a storm. All this to say I HAD A PICNIC TABLE IN THE BACK OF MY CAR FOR 6 YEARS AND NO ONE TOLD ME?!

We bought our 2001 RAV4 in 2001 and I am still driving it. This has been my favorite vehicle by far! I love the small size, the great turning radius, the ability to take out the seats and use it like a truck. It fits in compact car spaces, too. I will be very sad when it no longer works and I have to get another vehicle. I will drive it until that happens.

My 2007 Honda CR-V has 401k miles on it so I can confidently say that this thing is indestructible. Although the air-conditioning hasn't worked for years and I've experienced the door lock issues and it drinks oil like it's nobody's business but the thing still runs which is all that matters to me.

I have a 2008 crv. Its been the best vehicle I've ever owned. Has 260000 km. And still pulls the same as day 1. No problems with it at all.

Hi Scotty, I just bought my wife a 2018 RAV 4 AWD as we live by the snow belt area in Central Ontario, Canada.. Based my decision on your expertise in the many informative videos from an honest mechanic…. You are a very rare breed 🤙

I had a 2005 RAV4 that just retired after almost 17 years! with 280, 000 miles. It was rust that got it .. engine still ran perfectly. To be fair I live in Canada with rough winters. Amazing little car

Hey Scotty! Can you please do more of these comparisons? I've been looking at Lexus/Toyota and Acura/Honda per your advice. I haven't made a final decision, but was blown away by this presentation! ❤️

2006 CR-V, got it used with 42, 000 miles. Now has 250, 000! Great vehicle and LOVE the picnic table! You really can’t beat the creativity and engineering that they put into this thing!

Being a owner of 2019 rav4 I could say I’m really happy with it and it performs well going on dirt road and fishing and it does fantastic in the snow I would definitely recommend it as crossover sure it doesn’t have to much of power but you will still get thru places as needed and it does keep up with highway speeds

I have the 2021 CVR and I have owned 5 others . They are very dependable, easy on gas, and hold there value . The only complaint is road noise which keeps getting better year after year . My next car will be another CRV, and yes they are very good in snow also .

I bought a 2003 CRV in January of 2020 with 59 000 miles. I have since put nearly 15 000 miles on it that included a move from southern California to Toronto in January of 2021.
Aside from regular scheduled maintenance it has just needed the control arm bushings replaced (cost me a few hundred dollars) and has had no engine issues. Every mechanic that has looked at it has commented on how it will give me many more years of use as long as I keep taking care of it. I plan on driving it until it's kaput and by the sounds of it that will take a while still!
