I'm using their service for long time, but it's always a problem with the external HDs. I format my HDs as exfat since I have mac and windows here in the studio, and sometimes their app won't read some of the drives - for no reason!

Great video. I have been using Backblaze for a couple years after watching this video. I now have another question. How do I TRANSFeR my Backblaze License to a new Mac? I have anew main computer, but all the SSDs are the same. I cannot find any useful guidance on The net.

Great video. I just received my new iMac 24”. I have about 3Tb in my Photos library and keep it on an external 8Tb HDD. I also use a separate HHD for Time machine. I like what you presented about Backblaze but wonder if my library is just too large to use their services. At $6 a month that is very affordable. What are your thoughts?

Great Value for money 8TB backup drive being sent in the post. Not sure what Fedex would charge to ship but definitely a bargain for £133 for a 8TB desktop drive WITH all your files on it. Process for me is to buy a new Mini & MacBook Air for me and the wife respectively, each with 2TB internals and then download all iCloud files currently missing from our shared small 256GB 13” MBP and then ditch iCloud for BackBlaze for £4 a month … per computer …

Sorry Jerry. Just researched and you can backup a NAS but you have to subscribe to their "B2" tier. which is crazy expensive. Example: I have 40 TB which would cost roughy $2500 a year.Then there is the issue of version control. Why cant great products just be cheap? YUK

Would like to test that with TimeMachine with Backblaze as the drive. But it doesn't work. And only 2GB per day upload? I need 5-6 minutes to upload 2GB. The rest of the day backblaze does nothing? come on...
