DJI Mavic Air 2 Review - Is this the best drone you can buy in 2020?

Just when you thought the Mavic Mini was the most impressive small drone available, DJI has upped the ante with the DJI Mavic Air 2, which sits comfortably between the entry-level Mavic Mini and the two prosumer Mavic 2 models.

For photographers and videographers requiring a highly portable drone that can be easily carried alongside other photographic equipment to shoot Raw stills, 4K video up to 60fps and slow-motion full HD video, the Mavic Air 2 sets a new benchmark for what we can expect from DJI drones now and in the future.

With the launch of the Mavic Air 2, DJI has produced a drone that will undoubtedly have a wide appeal thanks to the impressive smart flight features, stills and video functionality, alongside the upgraded design, motors and battery that provide significant performance upgrades over the previous model. The DJI Mavic Air 2 isn’t perfect, but it’s a pleasure to fly and shoot with, and could easily become one of the best-selling DJI drones to date.

Slight error: the sensor is actually a 48MP sensor, not a 12MP sensor (it uses quad-binning to merge the smaller pixels into a 2x2 array and obtain basically larger pixels, that's how it gets the 12MP photos) and it *does* shoot RAW in 48MP.

Really good ! The active track seems upgraded too as they show it being used with a car and a motorbike which is something that makes me want to have it instead of a mavic mini. Anyway this seems like an amazing drone but for now I don't have the money to buy one ( I'm 14 and I want to buy myself a motorbike). I would love having one with a gopro hero 8 and an ipad with lumafusion to edit moto vlog ( all terrain moto vlog ) if I can get a motorbike. Great review. I notice all the slow motion scenes of moving water are jumpy and not smooth. Do other drones do this too?

Give us what was advertised and I will buy it. I don’t want a drone that doesn’t have ADSB and I don’t want a drone that in 18 or so months becomes a legacy drone. Simple, DJI stop all European orders and make them all ADSB compliant . Then order me one. Thank you. BUYER BEWARE.

Why is it much more expansive in Australia1?
