Great review. Sold my Air to upgrade because I kept getting color loss, trees would be gray instead of green in video, did you experience any of that? Cheers!

Was flying the Mavic Mini as my very first drone I purchased last November. I broke the right front arm last week, and I'm currently awaiting parts to fix it, but in the meantime I ordered the Mavic Air 2 fly more combo. The lack of obstacle avoidance on the Mini costed me a broken bird, so now the MA2 will help me with frontal objects in the future!!

I have not flown or bought a drone before but having watched their developments over the past few years, I decided to order an Air 2 Fly More combo a week ago and it arrives shortly. From what I see on reviews, it hits the markers for me, for stills and video, controls and filming effects. Time will tell. But so far I am very impressed with what is coming to me. I hope it performs as shown and remains reliable, being a new product. Thanks for your review. Items noted.

one of the most important things in life is to know what matters and what doesn't..

wasting time unless it's personal in a business costs money! these big expensive cameras really don't matter in the social media world where 99% of your videos are going to be shown.. if there's a difference no one will notice which has already been proven..

Pure image quality with 99% of the population not having 4K phones. Not even Apple or Samsung has a 4K phone. Their default video is always set to 1080p when the phones are shipped.. they know what matters and what doesn't..

Video compression on social media really does a number on no matter how good you think your videos and pictures are..

most people on YouTube and other social-media never look at your video in 4k even if it is 4K, because of the buffering, because of data and other things

So a lot of times it's really not going to matter.

Just like in the past year a lot of expert drone reviewers we're doing a b comparisons with all DJI drones..

THE RESULT? WITH THESE BLIND TEST NOBODY COULD TELL THE DIFFERENCE WHICH DRONE IT WAS..MOST PEOPLE COULDN'T TELL THE ORIGINAL MAVIC PRO FROM THE PHANTOM 4 PRO!!!

I mean think about it billion dollar companies like the NFL and others don't even broadcast in 4k.

4K is not taking off because it's kind of like CDs and wave files!!!

Most people think that MP3 is are just good enough for sound quality and that's what they settle with.. easy to stream, download, and doesn't use up much data..

That's what video is turning into.. I know the insane videographers love their high-resolution and cropping.. but the only way anyone's going to see how good your video is is if you bring them over your house and watch it on your equipment on your 4K television or computer. And then you have to explain to them side-by-side what the difference is.

NOBODY CARES THAT'S NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!!

so a small camera sensor or a 1-inch sensor is not going to make any difference when it comes to social media.. what matters more is pre and post production.

the only real thing while 1-inch sensor is going to do that you will notice. NIGHT TIME VIDEOS AND PHOTOS.. most people are not supposed to be filming at night anyways..

But it's amazing what the mavic Air 2 and even the mavic zoom can do with the technology in night mode..

Okay that's my rant!!
