Great wind test Dustin! Your reviews are honest and gives a lot of ppl perspective on which drone to purchase. It’s great how you buy your own drone and give us honest reviews. Great vids! Thanks

Dustin, the fact that u aren’t sponsored by dji baffles me! They need too!

At 15:55 Low Battery Warning comes on. Read the warning!! "Aircraft will land in CURRENT LOCATION. In other words RTH is canceled and it will land imediatley. Nothing to do with Sensors. Good wind test, thanks

Wow Dustin, You love testing these little guys well.
That wind was fierce!!.. yet that little MA2 stayed solid. Great picture quality and behaved as you'd expect for a Drone of 2020.
Precision landings always blow me away... maybe cos' I'm old and playing with RC Heli's, jets, Fixed wing aerobatic for 25+ years...and toy grade quads..in the last 5 odd years too... but this level blows me completely away.
new Mavic Pro Platinum owner and it's mind blowing how easy this thing is to fly... so simple...
Nice review.. as always Dustin, Hope you guys are keeping safe!

IMO Dustin is the BEST drone reviewer on You tube. I keep telling everyone his channel is the reason why I purchased the DJI Mavic Pro. See u on the next one 👌

I have found that the Mavic Air 2 handles the wind very well, and I live right on the Atlantic Ocean. But you were really dealing with some gusty winds, I'm glad you didn't any issues and you landed safely. Great demo of how it performs in high winds.

I have become very interested in drones during lock down (down here in South Africa) and find your post most enlightening as entertaining. You are helping me make up my decision re getting a drone (and it is likely going to be either a Mavic 2 pro/zoom or Air 2) Thanks so much

Really nice video! Interesting seeing drone arms trembling in the wind while image is perfectly stable.

I want to see an over water to Molokini Crater flight! I'd love to see the look back at Maui from out there with Haleakala in the background. That would be awesome. Maybe use a polarizer to see through the glare of the beautiful waters around the islands. Great video as usual Dustin.

You need an Anemometer! :) Great vid, thanks! I'd be nervous flying in such wind, nice to see the Air 2 handling it!

Awesome video and thank you for all you do man! Picking up my Mavic Air 2 today and I'm stoked! Your videos helped in a huge way in making my decision. This willl be my first high-quality drone that I've ever owned.

Dustin. I've been enjoying your content for some time now and just wanted to thank you personally instead of just 'liking' all the time. Best wishes from an English Guy living in France.

Once again, awesome video Dustin! Been doing some range and accuracy testing also. Noticed you made the comment that people seem to think that if they let it hover, you have a better return to home accuracy. I've heard the same thing. This is what I have come up with personally. I live in an area with a lot of wifi interference and I have a cell tower .25 mile away. The biggest determining factor for me is contrast. If I have the landing pad out, I land within an inch to 3 inches everytime. I can hover above the pad or take right off and shoot straight in the air without waiting. As long as I hear "The home point has been updated" message before flying away right away, it is an extremely accurate return to home. I've done 10 hovering and 10 fly away right aways and all 20 were accurate. The biggest distance recorded is 3 inch.
Now, if I take off from a grassy area(no contrast), I am still accurate, but now its by feet, not inches. My point is I don't think it is a matter of waiting over the landing spot or taking off right away. I believe its a matter of GPS for general area and contrast for that exact accuracy. My Air 2 will even face the same position it was in when I took off. Sorry for rambling, just trying to explain what I have found the best I can. :)

My hats off to you sir. You really push it to the limit. Love that about your reviews. Tough little drone IMO. Thanks for this one.

Obstacle avoidance dropping out when at full load could be due to unpredictable flight characteristics when at max power. If it is spending 90% of power driving forward, it couldn't guarantee straffing movement without being pushed backward.

"Dustin 'Extreme Test' Dunnill" ... ha ha. Really put it thru its paces. I was trying to remember then that song "Lime in the Coconut" 1st came out .. I think 1971, because I was very young when I 1st heard it. Laughed when you showed your skate park, because the idiots who run the state of California filled in their skate park with sand (so skater kids would stay socially distanced). Kids came back with shovels/brooms a week later and shoveled the sand out. Pretty surprising that it held its ground so well. Don't think I'll try that with my old XK 380 though. Mahalo!
