DJI Mavic Air 2 - Don’t make this mistake

Показать описание
When you first get your Mavic Air 2, you will need to install the propellers on the drone. In the past, DJI drones installed a safety feature on the motor that prevented you from installing the propeller onto the wrong motor. On the Mavic Air 2, things have changed. You will want to watch this video to prevent your drone from flipping over. If you got value from this video, make sure you like, share and subscribe.

I'm new to flying, but I made this mistake because I was yapping with someone while preparing to fly. I may be new, but I am very cautious and double check everything before flying - props, menus, RTH height etc. This one time I was careless and on take off which I always go slow and it "almost" flipped. Instead, it flopped to one side cracking one prop. Thank you for this video. It'll help all flyers, seasoned and newbies to double check everything before take-off. Good flying to you all!!

Thanks for the update. A bit repetitious and as a result longer than it needed to be. Anyone who misaligns the prop mounts is definitely author of their own misfortune. Don’t know how DJI could have made it any clearer. Thanks.

If you save 1 person from damaging their drone then this vid is worth it. What’s with the dislikes? 🤷🏻‍♂️

I actually made this mistake just a few days ago. When it tried to take off the drone make a wonky shake motion and that triggered a safety shutdown and the app prompted me to check the props. The drone didn't flip and there was no damage.

I did put the wrong propellers on and a warning ⚠️ came up telling me what propellers we're wrong. Very helpful.

Hi did this. When you try to take off they spin to 100% and then a warning told me to look at the props and it did not take off. Which was good.

So DJI didn’t want to Murphy Proof” the Air 2? I think they’re giving us Air 2 owners WAY to much Thanks VERY much!!! I GUARANTEE you have saved me from performing at least one ground loop!!!! Thanks so much. Didn’t want to use my insurance so soon. You’re a life saver.

Thank you a million for making this video.

This is my first drone I ever bought and I had no idea that there is a difference between A and B propellers. In the excitement I have opened 4 A propellers and put them on. Thank I got "propeller installation error " and I had no clue what the problem is. Thanks again man. My drone is flying now no problem. This machine is beast.

I'm glad for this video emphasizing the orientation. Its a very important step that's easy to overlook if you're excited and in a hurry to get in the air. I just got my MA2 today. First few flights went fantastic. My first drone and I'm in love.

I got my new drone and installed them incorrectly. It didn't flip over but stopped and gave me a warning on the screen that they were installed improperly. Thanks for your video. Now I know!

Definitely could have been shorter to get this point across but it definitely is a good tip for beginners that just purchased or are about to purchase or take delivery of a mav air 2. Please don't take it the wrong way i love you videos. I have and Autel evo 2 I bought partly in thanks to your reviews of the evo 2 and I want to say you did a great job on that as well. I can't wait to see more evo2 videos. Be safe happy flying

I have my Mavic Air 2 now - took a class (paid) - sort of disappointed. I like your video's btw, and when you join with other bloggers. I never hear anyone talk about 'camber' with propellers, or wings for that matter anymore. It's pretty obvious when you look at your propellers which ones are matched in camber, and which ones are different (opposite). So sure, then you have to still install them correctly, but at least you know that you have to match them kitty cornered to one another. I'm old and love old terms! I used to build my own model planes, so you really learned the old terms back then. This is going to be a lot of fun, and I'm planning on watching a lot of your videos. Thanks FlytPath.

Great advice. A propeller check pre-launch is probably a good habit to get into. Mine arrived today. Looking forward to my first flight test. Thanks for all the advice to date. Great to read all the comments also.

This would definitely be an issue for a first time drone user. Good info, Aldryn
