One of my favourites. Been watching LS lectures since Stanford U started posting his work.

A great discussion between two of the best science communicators in the world imo. Amazing to listen to. Sometime i would love to hear Susskind explain about the relevance of string theory, the holographic principle and ADSCFT in broader terms when considering that we don't actually live in an ADS universe. It's it all just math for the sake of math?

Random outcomes because of an outcome. Regardless of how many times something occurs in nature its Random all possibilities are realized until the outcome occurs. Peace 😎 ✌️. Perception is just a manifestation of the observation.

Another mid-expanding brain workout by LS! This stuff is like yoga for the mind LOL

The resolution of this problem of objects falling into a black hole lies in challenging the whole idea of black hole evaporation. It has never been observed and is based on a quantum mechanical idea that has never been observed.

So when an object passes through the event horizon it simply moves irretrievably from one region of space to another and adds to the mass of the neutron star that exists within the black hole. Richard

10:30 i'll tell you something creepy... Mathematics.. isn't really so much about numbers. the fact that we used them for counting, tallying, measuring things... is only a cute artifact of what they really are. Far from their main role in reality. what matters more... are the symmetries the numbers possess and how they interact. they're like harmonics.

If information is stored on the surface area rather than volume then an analogy could be on the inside surface area of a sphere or a home. Filling up your home with boxes filled with books is like lost information. Access becomes impossible. But if the books cover the walls on bookshelves, the information is not lost.

The flattened basic particles on the surface of black hole. Could black hole stretch the particles to the outermost side of the universe?

Black holes might be holographic, but since all matter is trapped there, what makes us believe that the whole universe is holographic in nature?

I would say this, in a galacty all information that can be saved is. But all information that gets captured by the flipped EMFSYSTEMS is destroyed as fuel, and all fuel is used. We're not understanding properly what we're a part of universally. And i like the lysol can better than your soup can lol. Peace 😎 ✌️, and keep up the work.

complexity in black holes from quantum computations? then Hawking radiation outside black hole?

Lennys Paradox, 400 electrons possible states would fill the entire universe with books. Nature seems much better organized since there are innumerable electrons. I think it can be described more logically, we are to obsessed with perfection and viewing my Daughter's sports game I realized the referees make frequent errors in their calls. The problem is the referee is the sole source of direction for the game state. When you de-quantize all these little referee errors you realize that there is a larger system of rules. A game outcome is decided and ultimately a larger series of games are played. The outcomes as recorded by the referee become inconsequential because the actual larger rules at play are that x amount of games be played between y amount of teams and an outcome decided on who won. So the referee errors do not matter, the thing of consequence is a complete outcome between the sum of all the parts be decided upon. Nature as I have observed does not seem to be concerned with an ultra quantum precision and allows consistent errors, the important thing is an outcome is reached.
