I used a similar lift to install sixteen 16’ steel panels on a 12’ 6” high workshop ceiling this past week! My wife and I did most of it ourselves, I’m 70 years old! Without it the job would have been nearly impossible! Other than lifting the panels up onto the lift, I could have done it alone. I had to built an extension rack to add about 18” of height because the lift came up a little short!

Nice video! Of the two garages I’ve installed metal, it’s more helpful to screw off next to the overlap rib instead of the midpoint between ribs. This ensures your overlap rib is tight to the profile of the adjacent panel. That way no sagging can occur and if there is a slight misalignment of panels (say 1/8”), it’ll cinch the overlapping ribs tight.

I'm really glad I found this video. Explains in really good detail how to do this; I have to put up the ceiling in my 38.5x48' shop before they can blow in the insulation. Do you happen to have a video on installing interior metal siding also? :)
