Great video! INFJ teacher here; I think you are spot on! I taught at university for serveral years and loved both the teaching and research side but hated the gatekeeping and department politics. I left academia and went into langauge teaching. I usually teach adults and love both the practical and the human side. I get so much joy from seeing students grow in confidence, learn how to debate in another language, and I love stretching their critical thinking skills. I also take on a few young adults precisely because I can get into the realm of morality to listen to where young voices find themselves and see how I can help them in their journey.

I think I got many INFJ teachers when I was at University (art domain)
They were so passionate by their topics and work (talking about philosophy of art, design/architecture, abstract, metaphors, interpretations) It's a real pleasure and magic to listen a teacher talk about very abstracts things, talk with images.
Their energy or aura is generally more agreeable than the others types who are teachers. They naturally listen, have compassion, helpful, make our life easier.
The best teachers I got were INFJ (soft teacher) ENTP (funny teacher), and INTJ (more the Ni-Fi)

"Intrusion by other perspectives is going to be perceived as potentially endangering the perspective that is coming from the introvert."
I appreciate you. I firmly believe that some of us (of course speaking of myself) are alienated for a reason.
Alienation may be a function of the psyche to allow non-conformist/original thought to grow.
We are not holding onto our vision for just us; we are grasping onto it so that it can exist, among everyone.
We need it, because it will enhance the All, not the Me.
Fe can be integrated, without expression, until we are at a place in our vision where we are ready to teach what we have nurtured in silence.

I so relate to this topic! I was extremely fortunate to have a literature instructor who practically handed me my life using Jung. As an INFJ myself, I sat quietly, usually in the back, with insights exploding in my head. I craved class discussions that brought out even more insight. After a few more classes with this instructor, I moved closer to the front and shared my own ideas. As a junior college instructor myself, I wanted to bring the same enlightenment experience to my students. At times, I offered very basic ideas of Jung. I used novels like "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance" and "Journey to Ixtland" and movies like "Stand by Me" and "Flatliners." (I know I m dating myself here). Students complained they couldn't watch a movie without analyzing it to death, but class discussions were so rewarding as I learned just as much from students as they did from me.

Highly recommended book: Rupert Sheldrake - The sense of being stared at (besides Renauds books of course :))

I believe that I would lean more towards the third approach type of INFJ as a teacher. Leaning also heavily on the side of the younger mind, with the thought that learning skills are usually built upon each other. Little / younger minds that are thirsty for knowledge excite me. Teaching small children can be delightful when they have a craving for new information!

I would imagine teaching would be very draining for an INFJ. We would give too much probably and maybe it could lead to burnout. Passive teaching via writing would probably work better for INFJs.
