Thank you for sharing this analysis of the different flavors of INFJ. I personally resonate with this description, as I have also tested as enneagram 1. I grew up with an infp mother who left when I was young, and an ESTP single father who most likely is an enneagram 8. Between biker rallies, auto junk yards, boxing gyms, street wise tough guys, fist fights and wood splitting my experience as a child was unlike the typical INFJ. When my smaller friends got bullied, I would be the first in line to take on the bully. The largest bully was 6'6" 250 pound varsity football center. I was in JROTC Marine Corps in school, and loved to take daring risks on my pedal bike. As a kid though I was still that stereotypical quiet shy kid. I just had the stuff to turn on the intuition to a high rev in times of danger. Meeting so many diverse people also gave me language and much empathy for the characters of life. I made tough phone calls, went on strange missions picking up unseemly characters late at night to "help" my dad and his endless (for lack of a better term) schemes. I began riding my motorcycle on the interstate at 15, and was on a stage playing guitar at a seedy blues club the same year. I would drive a stick shift truck at 13 to pick up groceries and auto parts. I love to write, and also love to spend a lot of time reflecting and reading, although the things I read/write tend to be applied sooner than later. I am more able to accept and process my extroverted sensing, which has lead me to become a certified health coach and personal trainer, in addition to artist/musician. As a father of 3 boys, I have to be able to break the stereotypical molds most would assume if they just met me. I also was/am a professional disc golfer, and I really struggled with performance anxiety, but those observing would have never known. So thanks for articulating this very unique and obscure sub-type! Sorry for wall of text!

Respect for putting this out on the D type( this is why in socionics its INFp because Ni is a perceptions type a irrational functions, INFJ is called a J type based on the 2nd function Fe(and the chart the course interaction style) which makes no sense)Thank you for mentioning us (4(w5)68sx/so) LEFV

Well. It does fits me with great accurracy. The depression is cyclical through my whole life like a wheel of fate. The only thing I add how being out of preference on Critique, and questioning, and midzone on empathy, and due to maybe a "not comforting past life"- at age 50 I am quiet apathetic toward humans issues. I could help but not interest me anymore to actually do so. Only rarely, and selectively. The person must deserve it within my own subjective standard in comparison to my 30yo self per se. THAT is a cushioned statement as well... a cushioned one indeed.
