There is growing concern among San Francisco restaurant owners who set up parklets during the pandemic. They are suddenly receiving code violations for the structures that once were their salvation. Christie Smith reports.

The absolute worst thing about owning a business in San Francisco is San Francisco City Hall incompetence and corruption, that is unless you’re a mega wealthy tech company cause then they’ll take it to the tonsils while offering a tax break. 🤨

Will the tent dwellers and broken down RV dwellers also be forced to comply with city codes? A lot of these restaurants are hanging by the skin of their teeth. The only reason they have outdoor seating is because the city told them if they didn't they would be shut down. Now the city is again changing the rules and going after their money, probably because tourism is down just like sales taxes are down. The city wants to make up their lost money by again fleecing the honest hard working business owners.

I love it San Francisco taxing the businesses that are already hanging on by a thread awesome. San Francisco never lets me down ridiculous how they go after law abiding people and have a marry go round justice system for real criminals. America’s Joke America’s laughingstock San Francisco.

Parklets need to have barriers set up that would stop a tank. Otherwise all they are is a way for large numbers of people to be sitting ducks to be mowed down by cars.
