Thank you for all the folksy love these days!! I'm working on a folk EP that should be out soon. :D

Am I the only one who wants a whole series of "but make it siren and mermaid-y" songs?

My dad read me the LOTR books when I was younger. When the movies came out we were so excited. We watched them all in the theatre together and then got the dvds for each other for holidays. He passed away at the end of last month. I miss him. This is a beautiful tribute to him, Malinda. Thank you. 💔💙

I don't understand why all the film production companies haven't hired you by now. You are magical.

I have heard this song sung by men, by men and dwarves, and in the Dwarven tongue (kinda). This is the first I've heard it sung by an Elf. And I am truly humbled.

Last time I was here this early, Morgoth wasn't fallen.

She could make "They're Taking the Hobbits to Isengard" sound like a magical Gaelic reel! Lol

Amazing! Here’s a quote for you from Thorin himself: “There is more in you of good than you know, child of the kindly West. Some courage and some wisdom, blended in measure. If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world.”

This is definitely singing to my Irish roots, it's like my gran singing to me when I was a little one. It's like coming home to a nice warm blanket, and a warm embrace.

So beautiful! Who else would like to hear her sing a cover of "My jolly sailor bold" by Ashley Sirena?

I think I saw someone comment that already, but I feel like this is how it would sound like if this song was performed by an elvish singer, instead of dwarves.
Have you thought about covering some more Tolkien songs, either from the movies or the books? Because I am sure I would not be the only one who would love that to death!

It's not often that this happens, but your voice took my breath away and made me cry. You have one of the most amazing voices that I've heard in a very long time. I've been a vocal musician all my life and It's rare that I get emotional. I would love to purchase some of your music. You deserve your own contract. In my opinion, you should've been the one to sing the opening to outlander. Thank you so much for sharing your voice with us

I'm curious why more people don't cover the entire song instead of just the two verses they did in the theatrical release of the movie. I'd love to hear you cover the dozen or more verses in the original book/supporting material.

After having listened to this song from a vast number of low-pitch covers, this is the first time that I listen to this song from a woman's voice. In my humble opinion, what this female's cover transmits, is just pureness full of calm. Greetings from Mexico.

Ethereal and haunting. An absolutely beautiful rendition of this incredible song. Thank you.

OK. This sounds like it was written! In the books these songs were meant to be old and mysterious because they are singing about things long since past. This is exactly the vibe that you gave it! Its kinda ghostly and sound like the background music for walking through a forgotten ruin. Just beautiful.

We have a lake near us that gets foggy at certain times of the year. I'm gonna go play this on some foggy moonlit night by the lake. Hopefully some randoms hear it. Hard to pinpoint sound in fog

Can only imagine what it would sound like if you sung the Lament for Gandalf

A few weeks ago I was in the mountains by myself on a ridge sitting there listening to this song with my longbow in my lap (was out stump shooting and hiking for the day and doing photography) and drinking some tea. Your music accompanies the solitude and solace of the purity of the mountains. Thank you for that.
