5 Mistakes I Made When Healing From Divorce and Betrayal

I made some pretty big mistakes as I was trying to recover from being cheated on and abandoned by my husband. These mistakes caused extra pain and delayed my healing. I hope that you can learn from them and from my sharing about the things I did right.

This is a great channel. I just discovered it tonight and it's helping so much. I used to watch Affair Recovery, a Christian based counselling channel, back when I discovered his affair (the first round of it). Since the second wave, it seemed to only drag me back down. He used to watch it w/ me, so it was more a reminder and trigger I didn't need. I can relate to you so much. Wish I made friends as easy and had so many people in my life. I fall short there, but am trying to reach out more.

4 months now and i still haven’t got my feet planted on the ground again. Divorce, when it takes you by surprise, is like a landfall that washes away the village of your life. I have barely been able to hold on to the riverbank, but I still don’t know where I am. With two kids, i need to take care of them, but now I am doubting everything even my capacities as a dad. I need a vacation! Get some perspective. But thank you for your videos, you are an inspiration and a beautiful person.
