As a black man who grew up watching the The Duke's Of Hazard and still a fan, when people started crying about the the flag, your show NEVER preached racism or hatred. The Duke's Of Hazard always preached right from wrong. I thank you and the show for being a great show.

I can't describe how great it is that John Schneider has his own General Lee.

Anything Bo does to his General Lee, is technically accurate.

In my town a guy painted his smart car like the General Lee, named it General Wee.

I love that John is super famous, and lives in a normal house in a normal neighborhood and seems like a humble, normal guy.

It's just refreshing to see a real celebrity who comes across as a decent and genuine human being. You can tell that John really enjoys talking with the fans. A class guy.

Sir, as an Englishman from across the pond, I salute you. When the show was on British TV, every saturday was spent at my nans and this was by far the highlight of the day! Those 30+ years inbetween I've spent with cars and motorbikes and never forgotten the line
"Straightening the curves, flattening the hills" what an absolute motto for life.
You are a real gentleman and Fred the cat is pretty cool too.
Many thanks for a significant slice of my childhood, cheers.

Growing up in an abusive childhood, the Dukes always helped me escape the pain and the scary times. Thank you for giving me that little bit of relief!

As a black kid growing up it was Dukes, Knight Rider and then Miami Vice. I had the dukes of hazzard race track set with the little cardboard ramp in the middle of the track...good times man. Never got hung up over the flag on a car on a tv show about two dudes fighting bad guys.

I watched Dukes with my father as a little girl. Those were some of the best times in my life. I lost him in 2015 so these videos bring light to my day. Thank you for sharing this. Editing to add. My uncle had a Road Runner. His horn was the same was the General Lee's. He'd always give a honk for me when he was coming over. I thought I was the luckiest little girl in the world.

Can you imagine driving down the street and seeing Bo Duke driving a General Lee?! John, you're awesome man! I love when someone you looked up to as a kid actually turns out to be the real deal.

This was the car I wanted as a kid. As an adult I can not afford one now. Beautiful rendition of a timeless classic, John. Thanks for letting us look at it.

It doesn’t matter if it’s not screen accurate. If John Schneider owns a General Lee, it’s a real General Lee.

Imagine getting gas at the station when a general lee pulls in and Bo is the one getting out of it. That would be the highest levels of epic!

Mr. Schneider, I watch "The Dukes" as a kid one of my favorite shows. Now in 2021 I am starting to appreciate you personally as one of my favorite people. You have class, intelligence and stand up for our American values.

as a mexican guy... I have to say I´m so oblivious to that controversy of the Confederate flag, but on the other hand I always loved General Lee, it seemed like a beautiful car and I liked how the flag looked on his top, my father made an enormous effort to give us the toys of the Dukes of Hazzard which in those years were very expensive and difficult to obtain at least in my country

The other day I was watching Dukes with my living room window open and there's a police station right down the road from me. A cop drives by and sees what I am watching through the window and gave me a thumbs up. Awesome to know some people still have some class

Hi John from the UK you will never know how much the Dukes meant to me and my friends in the early 80s, I am glad I found you on line and that you are doing great. Thanks again.

John I just wanna thank you for keeping the spirit of General Lee alive. My dad would get home from work just in time to watch Dukes with me every day. Definitely one of my favorite memories.
