Even better for building "maximum muscle in minimum time" is to do isometrics using weights (to achieve progressive overload); as explained in detail in the Maximum Intensity Strength Training (MIST) workout plan, that I developed many years ago.

What about female gymnasts are they healthy? Is it true they don't menstruate?
