I'm going to say it, Randle part of the heart of what it means to be a Knick. Randle belongs to New York and is part of the heartbeat of the city. His ability to put pressure in the paint is much needed. This play would do so much of taking pressure off Brunson. Randle's leadership to the Knicks is so valuable.

I respectfully disagree with your assessment of this trade. I live in Phoenix and have seen how KD and Booker did not work well together. If KD were Bronson's teammate there wouldn't be any ball movement, only Iso-ball between them. I wouldn't bring in a future HOF'r at the expense of team chemistry. The trade for KD is the only Julius Randle trade that makes sense as a trade for Randle!! 💯💯💯

The Knicks should mainly run it back with the same players. Randle is a valuable piece and still firmly in his prime years. Retain OG, retain I-Hart, and possibly try to trade for someone like Dejounte Murray using Bojan, Mitch and picks. Murray brings scoring and D, and can either play the 2 or hold down PG when Brunson sits.
