I was never a trade Randle guy but since he has imploded within the media, on his teammates and then the fans... there is nothing else left to do but trade him. The front office failed big time. DeRozen and Fournier got the same kind of money and look at the result? Randle was never supposed to be the main option... He is a Robin that needs a batman and clearly he can't handle the NY market. Randle is Russell Westbrook in a power forwards body. His shooting splits are terrible, he isn’t a good cutter or 3 point shooter so you can’t play him off ball he turns the ball over a lot 5/3.5 assist to Turnover Ratio isn’t good.

I was rooting for him at the beginning of the season despite the poor playoff performance last year, but at this point the crappy attitude he has is disappointing. Plus Randle doesn't have finesse, a first step, or good moves( always to the left) so he takes up too much time trying to get a shot off.

New He is not the piece for NYC or the big stage... And quiet as cap I think New York is considering trading him you know they remember what happened last year when he just didn't show up… I think that there is more of the same to come ...

3 reasons why this is Knick hate propaganda:
1) Knicks have a collection of draft assets to either continue building through the draft, or push for a win now player via trade.
2) Cap flexibility, all the players that were resigned were resigned to MODERATE deals. Nobody is overpriced (Nerlens Noel is debatable). Knicks aren’t sitting on any longer term contracts (Randle is the exception).
3) Patience, this is the first time in years in which we’ve had a front office that is patient and calculated when it comes to making moves and will not overpay for ANYONE unless it’s the right player aka a star.
All in all, hop off the Knick hate, ya’ll love to just trash talk and hate JUST BECAUSE YA’LL BIRDS THINK ITS COOL. Without actually looking and seeing that there is a plan to win a TITLE, not just a first round exit.

I called it last season the knick front office once again failed to bring a major free agent in and tried to save face and rushed to give Randle the contract because they failed to sign a real number 1 player same ol knicks, Randle is a number 3 option on a championship team after his horrific playoff performance the knicks should've made him show he deserved to have that contract instead they just gave it to him and this is the results.
