I bought a Professional Products intake manifold for my SBC. No matter what I did it leaked antifreeze into the engine. Tried resealing it three times with new Felpro gaskets.
No luck.
Bought an Edelbrock intake and bolted it on. Problem solved.
The moment I saw Made in China on the Professional Products manifold I should have returned it.
Expensive lesson.

Putting on my edelbrock performer intake to my iron eagle heads but there is a space at the runners? Guessing heads were milled. what do i do now?

You’re suppose to put rtv on the bolts too. Some of them go right through the head into the lifter valley.

I put black rtv covering all around the gaskets, is this bad? & if so could I take off manifolds & reuse old gasket?

NEED PRO ADVICE, I HAVE A GOOD ENGINE I KNOW WITH SOME POWER AND COULD PRODUCE MORE, SO WHAT CAN I DO GIVE MAXIMUM POWER TO MY ENGINE I HAVEN'T DONE ANYTHING TO YET. I HAVE A GOOD (360 V8 5.9 L MOTOR), ANY ADVICE?
