NEVER use those rubber gaskets that come in the box on the ends of the manifold! Run a 1/4 inch bead of a good gasket sealer on there instead. You’re welcome…

You need to soak your lifters in oil before you install. Usually have them submerged in oil for a couple hours before I install them.last thing you want is a dry lifter.

The rubber gaskets are going to pop out because they're not property adhered to the motor. Pure silicone only is the best. 1/4 inch high and then squish it gently and then hand tighten the bolts 24 to 48 hour cure.
