A family friend told me he thought it could’ve been delayed longer in China in order to help the C919 get more orders domestically. I can see that with a 2 year later recertification.

I have flown on lots of max 8’s and it’s a super smooth plane. Boeing made a big mistake but the plane is super nice and when it works correctly.
